Sligro Food Group has received an announcement of a possible claim directed against it by the Jumbo and Coop consortium, arising from the transaction for the sale of EMTÉ to that consortium in 2018. According to the consortium, EMTÉ’s gross profit margin did not develop as they expected in the phase following the transaction.
Sligro Food Group does not accept, and distances itself from, the allegations made by the consortium on this theme. At this stage we have no knowledge of the size of the possible claim.
Sligro Food Group is preparing for the next steps in this process and faces any potential legal proceedings with great confidence.
