Sligro Food Group is a member of the Superunie purchase combine, Centraal Bureau Levensmiddelenhandel (CBL) (the umbrella organisation for the supermarket sector and foodservice companies in the Netherlands) and FoodService Instituut Nederland (FSIN) (the organisation specifically looking after the interests of the foodservice sector in the Netherlands).
Superunie is a purchasing cooperative representing 13 independent retail organizations in the Netherlands. Its members are primarily family-owned businesses and retail cooperatives, often with strong regional roots. Together, they operate more than 1,700 stores and account for almost 30% of the Dutch retail market. Superunie has been successfully operating for more than 60 years.
The Central Bureau for Food Trade (CBL) is an industry association representing virtually all food retail companies active in the Dutch market. In addition, the organization actively advocates on behalf of the sector in The Hague and Brussels.

The Foodservice Nederland Industry Association Foundation brings together the largest players in the foodservice sector, enabling them to effectively position themselves and represent industry interests towards politicians, government authorities in The Hague, and local governments.
The Food Service Institute Netherlands (FSIN) was established in 2003 by leading companies in the foodservice industry as an independent knowledge platform. Its mission is to support the continued professionalization of the out-of-home food and beverage market.
FSIN is a growing association with more than 200 active members, including wholesalers, manufacturers, and foodservice outlets.
